Three Sisters Kayak Location 4You will need to sign a waiver and rental damage agreement before embarking. You must be back by 4:00 pm. $5 per minute for every minute late. If we have to come to you on the water for return of boat the rate is $60 + $30 per hour per boat.

We also supply you with maps of the area and let you know where the manatees have been sighted lately.

In fact, you may see more manatees from your kayak than from the boats we use to bring you to areas where you may swim with them. Kayaks allow you to explore inlets and springs smaller than our boats usually go. You’ll also have a chance to explore the many “nooks and crannies” of the springs’ inlets and creeks. Don’t be surprised if you come across river otters frolicking near shore, or if a flock of birds floats right by you. You’ll also get a chance to see tarpon and other fish.

We’ll give you a short kayaking how-to (kayaking is really easy!) before you head off on your own.

All you need do is bring bring a dry bag should any clothes get wet and maybe a dry shirt/pants, just in case. Not to worry, the chances of you taking a tumble into the river are really quite slim, but it’s always best to be prepared. Layered clothes also are a great idea, as the air will warm up over the morning.

And that’s it! Just bring your curiosity, your desire to meet and commune with manatees, and a willingness to explore and you’re all set!
